Pera Finance – The first decentralized trading competition of the DeFi Era
Introduction
Since all the DeFi protocols need some form of liquidity to provide an on-chain financial service, creating significant liquidity is the first step to establish a successful DeFi project.
This growing demand has led many DeFi protocols to develop innovative methods for attracting long-term liquidity, and has kickstarted a new financial incentive model called yield farming.
DeFi 1.0 was focused on generating supply side liquidity. However, so far no DeFi protocol has rewarded the traders that create the actual demand and yield farming rewards for the supplied liquidity.
Pera Finance introduces DeFi 2.0 — The era of trader-oriented yield farming
Pera Finance is a new trading protocol that offers customizable and decentralized trading competition solutions for the DeFi space, based on two key elements:
The PERA Yield Farming Protocol
The first element of our platform is a yield farming protocol built around a decentralized trading competition, the first of its kind in the DeFi space.
We aim to attract liquidity providers and traders to participate in a daily and continuous trading competition, by rewarding each party with significant long-term farming rewards.
The Pera Trading Protocol
The PERA yield farming platform is the proof of concept of our upcoming trading protocol that will be integrated into many other DeFi projects.
Pera Finance plans to expand through the DeFi space by offering a new type of building block based on customizable trading competition smart contracts.
The PERA Token
PERA is the native token of our protocol. It merges inflationary (emission-based) and deflationary (transaction-based) yield farming methods to create a sustainable and trader-oriented farming ecosystem.
Pera Finance’s hybrid farming mechanism rewards both supply and demand-side liquidity, which enables traders to yield farm as well.
PERA liquidity providers of the AMM pool (Pancakeswap), PERA traders (PERA volume creators of any kind), and PERA holders (every wallet that holds PERA) are rewarded with deflationary and inflationary farming rewards via the PERA Token. PERA’s token mechanics and financial model have been conceptualized by using multiple market models, based on real market data.
